The strap itself is tough, stretchy TPU with co-molded acetal buckles. Wrap it around whatever you're fastening, lock the buckle, and you're done. Leftover strap lies flat against the loop instead of flapping about. There's also a slimline Keeper Strap, whose extra grip strengthens the hold on awkward loads and cushions items that could otherwise scratch each other.
