Minimalist Tarp Ultralight Shelter with Twin Storm Flaps

Twin storm flaps do the heavy lifting here: closed, they block wind and rain; opened up, they add shade when conditions shift. Pitching takes hiking poles and the adjustable tensioners at the reinforced points, and you get a tight shelter without the sag.

The fabric is Ultra-Sil LS, certified recycled and bluesign APPROVED, built to resist water absorption and stretch. A catenary cut keeps flutter down when the wind picks up. Packed small and light, this tarp suits adventurers who want one shelter that covers several setups.

Features

• Twin storm flaps shield you from wind and rain, or open wide for more shade as the weather changes
• Circular bar tacks hold trekking pole tips in place, and adjustable guy lines tension fast at reinforced tie-out points
• Ultra-Sil LS 15D nylon/30D polyester ripstop soaks up less water, dries quicker and holds a tighter, low-stretch pitch
• Reinforced tie-outs with line tensioners give you precise control over pitch and fabric tension
• Catenary cut limits fabric flutter and keeps the pitch taut as wind speeds rise
• The reinforced stuff sack does double duty, attaching to the tarp as a pole pocket for branches or paddles when you have no poles
• A central hang loop lets you suspend the tarp from branches for other overhead configurations
• Attached toggles let you pull the guy lines off fast, so tarp storage stays tangle-free
• Optional Escapist Mesh Bug Shelter clips on and hangs from the tarp when bugs are bad
• Ultra-Sil LS fabric is recycled, bluesign APPROVED and non-PFAS for a lower impact
