Bugs can ruin a tarp camp fast. The Escapist Mesh Bug Shelter adds a layer of insect defence to your ultralight setup, built from 15D no-see-um mesh that keeps mosquitoes, ants and spiders out while you still see the sky.

Hang it under the Escapist or Minimalist tarp, or pitch it standalone with trekking poles, guy lines, stakes or whatever anchor the site gives you. The zippered door makes entry simple.

At ground level, a waterproof Ultra-Sil LS tub floor runs up the sides — 15D nylon and 30D polyester, low stretch, with extra height for privacy and weather protection. The floor plan fits two regular tapered sleeping mats, and there's room to sit up.
